- %ProgramFiles%\HSM\h.exe
- %ProgramFiles%\HSM\Hidetools Spy Monitor.url

- %ProgramFiles%\HSM\Spy Monitor Help.chm
- %ProgramFiles%\HSM\unh.exe
- %ProgramFiles%\HSM\uninst.exe

Note: In the above list of files, [LOG TYPE] relates to the information that is gathered by the program, for example %ProgramFiles%\HSM\KEYSTROKES.lst
Next, it creates the following registry subkeys:
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Hidetools
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\wmispe.exe
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Hidetools Spy Monitor
It also creates the following registry entry so that it executes whenever Windows starts:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\"Hidetools Spy Monitor" = "C:\Program Files\HSM\wmispe.exe"
The program performs the following actions on the computer:
- Logs keystrokes
- Records screen shots
- Monitors Web sites visited
- Logs applications that are currently running
It then sends the gathered information to a remote user.
